Funny how having more money is only a problem when it’s the working poor and the middle class who have it. Not when billionaires add a few more billions.
Of course, business has enjoyed the worker desperation of a tight labor market coupled with a near nonexistent social safety net for decades. So it’s no wonder they feel abused and put upon when workers suddenly have a bit more leverage. It’s simply not right that those terrible employees are no longer as cheap and expendable as a box of staples.
The answer of course for all these good capitalist is for government to step in and force those folks back to work. Funny how federal interference and largesse is good when it’s flowing to business.
